Out of Warranty Policy

This policy explains terms for repairs and services that fall outside warranty coverage.

Out-of-Warranty Conditions

  • The 30-day Doorstep Laptop Service service warranty has expired
  • The issue is a new, unrelated fault not covered by a prior warranty
  • Damage caused by physical impact, liquid, power surge, or misuse
  • Repairs performed by unauthorized third parties after our service
  • Device is past the manufacturer's product warranty period

Out-of-Warranty Service Terms

  • Standard diagnostic and service charges apply
  • Transparent upfront quote before any work begins
  • All out-of-warranty repairs still come with a fresh 30-day labour and parts warranty from us

Economically Viable Repairs

For devices over 6–7 years old, our technician may advise if repair is not cost-effective vs replacement. We always provide honest guidance — we never push unnecessary repairs.

Diagnostic Fee

A ₹199 diagnostic fee applies to out-of-warranty assessments. This fee is waived if you proceed with the repair. You may decline at no further cost after receiving the quote.

Parts Availability

We make every effort to source parts for older and discontinued models. If a required part is unavailable, we will inform you and suggest alternatives including refurbished OEM options.
